Long Time, No Update!

Well, I'm by far over Anthony. I've been with Jeremy for over a year. We make two years February 14, 2009. I actually just had homecoming with him this Saturday. We looked great! I don't get a homecoming this year, because I don't have a football team at L'eCole Cabanocey. Oh, that's the school I'm attending these days. Anyway, we are getting a costume dance sometime in October. I hope it won't be on Halloween, because Jeremy and I have other plans. Of course, we're going trick-or-treating! You never get too old for that. People are always telling us, "Y'all are just like an old married couple!" So, our costume this year will be old people! I'll be in a moo moo and my hair will be in curlers. I think Jeremy should wear some high waters with white socks and a sweater vest. Also, about L'eCole, I am the school newspaper editor!! I have an October issue to get out. I've been making an outline for it, but I still need to add ideas. Well, I'm gonna go finish up other things. I'm balancing a lot these days...

Catching Up

It's been some time now. Me and Anthony broke up. Cried 2 days, and then I guess I got over it. But I can't listen to certain songs anymore. His jacket is still here. Lately, to calm me down, I have been listening to Incubus and avoiding Hellogoodbye (seeing as how all of their songs are about love and I have no one to love). I'll get over it. I need to pick up a new hobby and get a new boyfriend.

So, my new thing is photography. MusicBaby Photography. Just like my record label Music Baby, one day. I would give the link out, but seeing as no one reads this, why should I? But anyway, January 20, I get to take awesome pictures of Oh Juliet! and it will be amazing. I cannot wait.

All I can really think of lately is needing a new guy. I mean I've talked to a few guys but nothing clicks. I need one who gives me some space. Sweet, sings to me, you know. Had one that did all of that but no room at all. I know perfect is a lie but it's somewhere out there.

So, I'll check in later with news. Not much new in this one. Relationship problems block my mind from spilling secrets and stuff. Maybe next time. I might even be bragging about a guy! Hopefully.

XOXO,
Jessica

Hello Once Again

Well that was nice last time, getting to talk and such. Letting you know who I am. Want to know more or are you satisfied. Well may I explain to you about my future. I just got thinking about it and stuff. So... After school, of course, I am going to college. Probably Nicholls and later switching to Mississippi State. After college, I want to move to Ohio. Somewhere up north because more good bands play there. Or maybe Houston, every tour goes to Houston. And if I'm still with Anthony, we're going to have two kids, music-based names too. If not, and if I don't find anyone, I want to travel a lot. I plan to be a photographer. This Christmas, my main presents are going to be a gooood camera( hoping to go with a Canon 10.1 megapixels) and a video camera. I want to be an interviewer if I am successful with journalism. Although I think I prefer photography because I suck at writing anyway.
Also, at school there is a prayer circle in front of the library. I've been thinkin about goin with my friend Marilyn. I watch the circle every morning and it seems really nice. I usually pray every morning, but praying twice isn't anything close to bad. One on one time with God is nice, but praying with a bunch of people is great, too. I'm sure you could make friends doing it, too. I also wonder if Brea still belives in God. Any of my friends really. You know, I used to cry during church. It used to get to me really bad. I'm glad I found God. I'm glad I have Him. And I have to thank my friends that led me to Him.
I have changed. I have changed so much, nobody notices though. It's one of those things you have to dig deep for. Here is where I express myslef cause I really can't anywhere else. No one has respect anymore, no body really cares anymore, the world is mailny hate. But there is a little group of people who are happy with their life. I'm in that group. I mean there are things that could get better, but things are still satisfying. Not many people know the feeling though.

Intro

Well, I wanted somewhere more private for a blog. Myspace blogs are icky and Xanga is pretty boring. So I'm trying this. I never usually write many blogs and I don't exactly use my diary anymore. Don't know why. And typing more will make me faster which helps for Intro to BCA. Even though I have an A average in that class. But oh well.
I'm sure you'd like to know a little about me,huh? Well my name is Jessica, call me Jess. I just turned 15 on the 26th. I live in Louisiana but I was born in Mississippi. Mississippi is a great place, but they never have any good bands play there. Oh yes, I am definately into music. It's my life and without it I would be nothing. I can't play anything though. My great uncle was gonna teach me how to play guitar, but I rarely see him. I want to have my own record label called 'Music Baby.' I also wanna be a journalist for my favorite magazine, Alternative Press. If you know about that magazine then you know that I like rock music. I definately do.
I grew up listening to Tool, Alice in Chains, Nine Inch Nails. Stuff along those lines. The 90's rock is what I would call it. When I got to around... 2nd grade maybe, I went through my Spice Girls stage. Then Britney Spears, N*Sync and Backstreet Boys stage. And 4th and 5th grade was Train and Aerosmith. Summer before 6th grade and into 6th grade was Good Charlotte. Towards the end and into 7th grade, I went through a goth phase. Cradle of Filth was my band. I'm glad all of those days are over. Back then, I though music and fashion had to match. They really don't.
Now I like alternative, emo, screamo, indie, christian rock, ect. My favorite band is finally getting big. They just got signed by Geffen. Band is Meriwether and you should really check them out. I've seen them 3 times and met them twice. Second time I met them they remembered me. A record label that I am stuck to is Tooth and Nail. Awesome bands. Really awesome. Christian stuff.
For the longest time, I didn't think God was real. I felt that I had to see to believe in him. Until this one day when I was in desprate need of help. No one was there to talk to. So I prayed. God heard me and I know he did. Right then I found God and there is no doubt in my mind he is always with me. I can feel and see how much I have changed from the days I lived without him. I am so much happier now and I don't care if I'm the only one that knows it. I thank him all the time that I am living my life and I have all of these people that care for me. I wish I could really show him how thankful I am. So that's why I spread the word.
I don't think I've ever gotten this deep before and it feels really good to have it written down/saved somewhere. And I don't really mind who sees it. Just that I can actually get all of this out of my head lifts so much weight off of my shoulders. It makes me feel better and people can see that I'm not just the redhead girl who is obsessed with music. There is soo much more...
